An Abu Dhabi delegation headed by H.E Hussain AlNowais visited France last
May 2001. ADCCI delegation held its 3rd Joint-Committee with its partners at
Medef premises. Before that meeting, the Abu Dhabi-French Business Promotion Office was
officially launched during a press conference. H.E AlNowais asserted that this Office will
function to realize guarantee and easing the ways of communication and exchange of
information between the businessmen of Abu Dhabi and France. It will also introduce French
Investors with available investment opportunities, existing and future projects.
ADCCI
delegation attended a meeting at Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry and
representatives of French industrials companies. Mr Luc Fichter, President of the French
Business Group in Abu Dhabi attended the different meetings in France. He gave a
presentation about the French Business Group and briefed about the services and objectives
of Abu Dhabi-French Business Promotion Office.
Jean-Louis Haro, General Manager Siged Emirates and Board Member French
Business Group gave a presentation at Paris Chamber of Commerce meeting about the
opportunities of investments in Abu Dhabi for S.M.E’s. Jean-Pierre Giraud, Chief
Executive Officer Technip and President French Trade Advisors for the U.A.E also attended
this meeting and gave a similar presentation.

similar meetings were also held in Marseille & Lille Chambers of Commerce &
Industry
